A Bengaluru-based street-side momo vendor has stunned viewers and sparked a debate on social media after revealing that he makes Rs 1 lakh every day and about Rs 31 lakh per month, selling momos. The details were shared in a now-viral reel by a digital creator who spent a day as a helper at the stall.
The video garnered over eight lakh likes, but the momo vendor and Pareira did not reveal how much profit the business made. So, even though some netizens applauded the entrepreneurial success, others were skeptical. A few also questioned the math.
“That’s truly a lie, no way a plate of momo costs Rs 110 roadside and no way he could sell 900+ plates,” one user wrote. Another pointed out the time constraint: “If he spends one minute per customer, 900 plates would take 900 minutes—15 hours without breaks.”
